Jared The Cat Groomer
2904 NE Burton Rd Suite B, VancouverJared is an amazing cat groomer! We've been bringing our long-haired cat, Winston, for years now and he always comes back with a lion cut all happy & looking cute. We notice each time he seems happier after his haircuts and we trust Jared immensely with him, which can be challenging to leave our pets with others so it's wonderful having that level of trust with someone.
And we know Winston can be a smidge moody sometimes, so thank you!!!

Best Friends Dog Grooming
10411 NE Fourth Plain Blvd, VancouverOur Shiz Tu mix; Big Rowdy is almost 1& 1/2 years old. He is 24 lbs of energy. We have taken him to a couple of groomers in his short life and my little guy has NEVER had a better hair cut. The pricing is half of what we have been paying!, HALF!!! And they do it all, anal glands, ears, nail trim...he is clean and fluffy and so happy! Did I mention that he is terrible client, hates being brushed, hates his paws touched, hate everything about grooming so even though I know they had their hands full with him, they did a terrific job. We also took our 80lb Bully; Boom 10 years old last week for a bath, they did a fabulous job with her as well. We have found our dream dog groomers!

Several types of shampoo to consider using including hypoallergenic and deodorizer. They had tools to use to wash the dog with and the friendly staff made sure I understood how everything worked. They have drying stations for the dogs too including brushes. The experience was great. I give this business 5 stars and I would recommend this dog wash if you need a place to wash your dogs.

Feline Medical Clinic
5801 NE 105th Ave, VancouverI love that this is a cat only clinic it’s so unique to find locally and I’m so happy I found this vet for my little Bella. She just got spayed and has been doing great. The staff are informative and every time I come in I feel taken care of and every one is so kind. They even offer a treat every time I bring Bella to help calm her down, even whip cream once! They have towels in the lobby you can drape over the carrier that have a calming scent on them. Overall the experience is good for going to the vet and I’d recommend this clinic to my friends and family.

Mountain View Veterinary Hospital
13914 NE 16th Ave, VancouverBeyond excellent experience. Dr Fairbanks is a veterinarian that excels in compassion and competence. We have been taking both our cat and dogs here for 15+ years. We had to take our cat for an operation last week and I felt we were treated fairly and respectfully, no upselling, and the price quoted was reasonable and the actual procedure came in under the quote. Your pet is in good hands here.

Animal Medical
3417 NE 78th St, VancouverMy dog was recently diagnosed with Diabetes and Dr. Ferguson was so patient with my long list of questions and concerns. This review is long overdue actually as I’ve been taking my dogs to him for several years now and every time I see him, I’m blown away by his knowledge and ability to explain things in a way that is easy to understand. I never feel judged or coerced like at other places. It’s one of the few vet offices that’s not owned by a big corporation. He doesn’t nickel and dime you nor recommend anything unneeded. His whole team is phenomenal and go above and beyond to take care of us. I wish he took human patients. When he retires, there will be a vast void in vet options in Vancouver.

Paws Down Pets Dog Training
2804 NE 155th Ave, VancouverWe cannot say enough wonderful things about working with Julie! Our 11-month-old golden retriever, Walter, struggled immensely with self-control, and as dog parents, we felt completely lost. Julie not only helped Walter grow in this area but also gave us the knowledge and tools we needed to support him. Her training approach was clear, effective, and compassionate, and we’ve seen such an incredible difference in Walter’s behavior. More importantly, we now feel empowered and confident as pet parents to continue supporting his progress. We’re so grateful for Julie’s guidance and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer who truly cares and makes a lasting impact.

Tiny's Place Luxury Cat Boarding LTD
9228 NE Hwy 99 Suite 101, VancouverTiny’s Place is truly exceptional! The cat suites are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed to make our furry friends feel comfortable and pampered. One of the things we love most is the regular photo updates—they give us peace of mind while we’re away and always bring a smile to our faces.
What really sets Tiny’s Place apart is the genuine love and care they show for every cat. They treat them as if they were their own. When one of our beloved cats passed away, they honored his memory with a photo and a touching memorial on the wall. That level of compassion is rare and speaks volumes about their dedication.
We wouldn’t board our cat anywhere else. Tiny’s Place is more than a boarding facility—it’s a second home for your pet.

The Cove Restaurant
5731 SE Columbia Way, Vancouver2026 review: Dined in on a Sunday afternoon for brunch with a largo group and shout out to the servers who handled everything with grace. I didn't make the reservation so I don't know the original number it was made for, but I'm positive we had more people show up than originally intended and that can sometimes be hard on the wait staff. This time I tried the calamari, and it was OK. There was too much Kung Pao sauce for me and with the tamarind- ginger aioli, it was a tad bit too salty. My entree was the chicken grinder and it was delicious. The bread was fresh and I removed the spicy pepper relish. We had a seat by the window so great river views. And again, the service was great.

900 Washington St #120, VancouverGenuinely surprised by the food. I didn't realize it was a cafe located in an office building when I ordered an iced latte and bagel online. So when I parked, I didn't have high expectations for the taste or quality.
My oat latte was perfectly balanced, the right amount of milk to espresso, and the bagel was soft and bouncy (good chew). I started picking at the bagel before I made it home.
I'll definitely be back.
