I get much prettier birds (goldfinches, scrub jays, and more) in my backyard than I did when I bought birdseed on Amazon. I think this is because their seed is so much fresher than what you get online. I can smell the fresh seed when I open the bag -something I never noticed with other seed mixes. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and have a great selection of feeders. I love supporting a locally owned business by shopping here, too.

You can of course buy Tigertail pet food products at local pet food stores, but many don't know the seemingly well-kept secret that the food is made right here and available at their store in Encinitas. Never mind the facebook Ads. for the "Farmers Dog" for expensive frozen food sent by mail. Tigertail can be bought fresh or frozen at a local Encinitas small business for a lot less money. ALL their food and treats are prepared in the kitchen on the premises, and there are several formulas for different needs or preferences for your dog OR you cat!!!

I was accepted into their shop based on another long time customer who also owns a standard poodle, and I have been 150% satisfied. the grooming is great, but the love they have for animals is priceless. i highly recommend them.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was compassionate, calm, and reassuring. They treated my cat with such care and took the time to explain everything clearly, which helped ease my anxiety during a very stressful situation.
The veterinarian (Dr Campbell) & vet techs were thorough, kind, and never made me feel rushed. You can truly tell they care about both pets and their owners. I’m incredibly thankful for the quick attention and professionalism we received. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who needs emergency care for their pet—you’ll be in excellent hands.

On her last day X-rays showed her entire cavity filled with fluid and that was time. Coco refused to go down without a fight - her will to be loved and to live was strong but her ailing condition was inevitable Thanks for your care and the many times you work so hard to support slotting me in, even answering my calls before the office day started Bless all of you and families

We switched from a prior vet to come here as our prior vet misdiagnosed him, wasted a month on the wrong meds and cost us loads of time and money treating! 2159 San Elijo Ave, CardiffWe chose Cardiff Animal Hospital to do 2 TPLO surgeries on our husky, Luna. The surgeries were done 1 month apart. Their pricing is one of the lowest ones we could find. It includes all post op appointments, check up x ray, laser therapy.
We are very satisfied with our experience! The women who work there are compassionate, caring and eager to answer any questions you may have. From the signs saying “Welcome Luna” in the exam rooms, to vet techs sitting on the floor hanging out with Luna while talking to us, they really go above and beyond. I would even receive text messages a few days after appointments from the hospital checking in about how Luna is doing.
Thanks to them, she is having an amazing recovery and soon she will be back to herself and full activity.

Her gentle and well researched approach has been so helpful for our little puppy and we are so grateful for all her advice! She's thoughtfully answered our many questions and concerns and given us confidence as first time dog owners. Unlike other trainers we have spoken to in the area, Pawsitive teaches POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT techniques, which are safe (unlike outdated and harmful approaches like dominance training or negitive reinforcement)!! Because of this, we are able to build an even better relationship with our puppy and understand his needs! Our puppy has mastered simple commands like sit, stay, and come. Pilar takes the time to understand what motivates each dog (in our case, treats!) and uses that to encourage positive behavior in a way that's effective and fun. Encinitas Blvd, EncinitasI would highly recommend Zack and Yumi as cat sitters. During the past few years, they looked after my two kitties many times when I traveled. My cats have dietary and medical issues and Zack and Yumi were very responsive to their special needs. They kept me updated during my trips and sent photos of the cats every day. I would always come back home to two happy cats, a clean litter box, and a house free of the inevitable trails of litter, meaning they weren’t just careful with my pets but also respectful of my house. On one trip they also successfully took care of an invasion of ants that had found the cats’ food bowls. I recently moved out of the Encinitas area and I very much miss having them as pet sitters. I would hire them again in a heartbeat if I could.

We ordered the çılbır (Turkish eggs) and added the hanger steak, and honestly, it was perfection. The steak was grilled beautifully — juicy, tender, and right at medium rare — and it paired seamlessly with the soft-poached eggs. The herbed yogurt added this cool, tangy balance to the rich chili-garlic butter, and the torn herbs gave everything a bright, fresh lift. Every bite had that ideal mix of creamy, spicy, and savory. The toast was golden and crunchy, perfect for chasing down every bit of sauce.
Then came the torrija (Spanish-style French toast), and wow. It’s rich without being heavy — a thick-cut sourdough soaked in yuzu cheesecake custard, topped with pecans, pear, and candied ginger. The textures were layered beautifully: crisp edges, custardy center, bright citrus notes cutting through the sweetness. It’s one of those dishes that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate what’s happening.
Manna feels like the kind of place where brunch becomes an experience — cozy, elevated, and genuinely creative. Every plate feels crafted with care, and it shows.
