I get much prettier birds (goldfinches, scrub jays, and more) in my backyard than I did when I bought birdseed on Amazon. I think this is because their seed is so much fresher than what you get online. I can smell the fresh seed when I open the bag -something I never noticed with other seed mixes. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and have a great selection of feeders. I love supporting a locally owned business by shopping here, too.

You can of course buy Tigertail pet food products at local pet food stores, but many don't know the seemingly well-kept secret that the food is made right here and available at their store in Encinitas. Never mind the facebook Ads. for the "Farmers Dog" for expensive frozen food sent by mail. Tigertail can be bought fresh or frozen at a local Encinitas small business for a lot less money. ALL their food and treats are prepared in the kitchen on the premises, and there are several formulas for different needs or preferences for your dog OR you cat!!!

On her last day X-rays showed her entire cavity filled with fluid and that was time. Coco refused to go down without a fight - her will to be loved and to live was strong but her ailing condition was inevitable Thanks for your care and the many times you work so hard to support slotting me in, even answering my calls before the office day started Bless all of you and families

Her gentle and well researched approach has been so helpful for our little puppy and we are so grateful for all her advice! She's thoughtfully answered our many questions and concerns and given us confidence as first time dog owners. Unlike other trainers we have spoken to in the area, Pawsitive teaches POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT techniques, which are safe (unlike outdated and harmful approaches like dominance training or negitive reinforcement)!! Because of this, we are able to build an even better relationship with our puppy and understand his needs! Encinitas Blvd, EncinitasIf you’re looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and kind pet sitter, I highly recommend Zack and Yumi. Zack deserves 10 stars for being so patient with my cat Truffle. Truffle is sweet around me and my husband but can be anxious and disagreeable around pet sitters. Zack put up with her hissing (and sometimes even growling!) at him for most of the two weeks we were on vacation. He maintained a great attitude despite her unfriendliness. He sent us text updates and photos after each visit. He was calm and reassuring as we dealt with a stress-induced medical issue. We appreciated his lighthearted humor despite the challenging situation. He joked about how he and Truffle were bonding over their shared love of food. ? Slowly but surely, Zack won her over. Truffle ultimately rewarded Zack with her affection before we returned home. Hopefully, she’ll remember what a wonderful pet sitter Zack is and skip the grumpy cat routine next time we travel. Piper can be a frustrated greeter and is strong enough to really pull while on the leash, but both behaviors have been minimized with the right tools under our belt. Walks went from being stressful to being a fun experience for us both! We learn new games and training exercises - time spent with Pilar is always rewarding! Her experience time and time again has helped me communicate more clearly to my dog as well as understand her behaviors. Pilar's positive reinforcement training has helped me build a strong bond with Piper built on trust, and I'm so grateful!

We ordered the çılbır (Turkish eggs) and added the hanger steak, and honestly, it was perfection. The steak was grilled beautifully — juicy, tender, and right at medium rare — and it paired seamlessly with the soft-poached eggs. The herbed yogurt added this cool, tangy balance to the rich chili-garlic butter, and the torn herbs gave everything a bright, fresh lift. Every bite had that ideal mix of creamy, spicy, and savory. The toast was golden and crunchy, perfect for chasing down every bit of sauce.
Then came the torrija (Spanish-style French toast), and wow. It’s rich without being heavy — a thick-cut sourdough soaked in yuzu cheesecake custard, topped with pecans, pear, and candied ginger. The textures were layered beautifully: crisp edges, custardy center, bright citrus notes cutting through the sweetness. It’s one of those dishes that makes you stop mid-bite just to appreciate what’s happening.

Carlos the chef is extremely kind and prepares everything with quality and a smile.
Carlos at the register is also very friendly and welcoming.
The rest of the staff do a great job. Come through and check out the massive cactus growing on the edge of the building. Swami’s smoothie, coffee, and bagel breakfast sandwich will set you up for the day

1044 S Coast Hwy 101, Encinitas? ? ? Intimate cozy local bar with a great beer list (on tap and bottles- many Belgians) and incredible burgers. I recommend the Santana burger with peppers but they are all good.
It’s a good spot to watch the game and meet others at the bar. They have a mix of bar seats as well as tables. The menu includes burgers, pizza, and other options as well. And kind service! Oh and the brownie with bourbon and ice cream was delicious.

I had many questions about the menu but my server was patient and kind. I ordered the Mango Lassi, Chicken Samosas, Mango Pineapple Chicken, Onion Kulcha, and then I had the Ras Malai for dessert. The prices were reasonable too for the amount of food. I will definitely be coming back again!
