29920 Margale Ln, VistaThis was my first time leaving my cat in care. I feel that there are some things that could be improved to make it less stressful for the cats. It seems like dogs get more fresh air and sunshine, and cats get kept in a closed up darkish, small room. I noticed almost all of the reviews here are for the dogs. I understand cats are harder to contain because they are such good climbers, and you can't just put them outside in the fresh air that easily. So I have a couple of suggestions to make it much less stressful for them.My cat would not stop repeatedly, loudly yowling on the way home, like a broken record, over and over and over. I have never seen her do that, ever. She was extremely upset. Apparently she was doing this the entire time I was gone, but it was mistaken for a need for attention. What she wanted was to get out. She needs a place where she can roam a little freely every now and then. I believe also the constant sound of barking dogs was very stressful to her. So, here are my suggestions of how to make this a much better experience for cats, especially cats like her that are not used to being in closed up quarters like that for days.I wanted to suggest that you get some type of audio feed of animal sounds that cats like, such as squirrels and birds and other cats, et cetera. There are plenty of videos on YouTube of such things for cats. I believe playing something like this during the day would be helpful to drown out the sound of the dogs and also to make a more pleasant environment for the cats - something that they naturally enjoy listening to and they find soothing. I know personally that I cannot stand the sound of a repetitively barking dog, grates on the nerves. I cannot imagine what a cat goes through when there are a dozen doing so. They are so very sensitive - with a powerful sense of hearing, just like a dog, and extremely powerful sense of smell, also. The odor of dogs is quite strong on the property at times, and may also be difficult for a cat not raised around them.My other suggestion is to have some type of interior room with some toys, maybe a laser light or 2, and give the cats at least 10 or 15 minutes out each day in an actual room, to run around a little bit. I believe this would greatly help with stress. You can charge $5 a day for this service, like other daycares do. I would gladly pay for that.My cat came home healthy and she's okay, but she's still jittery, and not acting like herself. Possibly this is normal behavior for a cat after being in daycare. But I hope you will consider my suggestions anyway. I mean them as helpful suggestions, not as criticism.

When I pick them up they are both so proud, prancing around and knowing how fine they look! I never thought I would find someone who cared for our would build a relationship with my pups after loosing our first groomer, but Julie HAS done that and I have full confidence they are in good hands when I drop them off.

Vista Veterinary Hospital
1139 S Santa Fe Ave, VistaDr. Bath is very caring and always answers all my questions. The front staff is nice too. Dr. Bath recentlu cleaned my small dogs teeth and the teeth look great. My 8 year old dog did not have any extractions so the procedure cost be about $460. But bloodwork to make sure he was okay to do the procedure before cost around $289. This is still way cheaper than any other place that I got a quote from. Other places were trying to charge me over $1200 minimum.
I like Vista Vet because they are affordable and good quality too.
My late dog that passed had her teeth cleaned by Dr. Bath as well. She was 13 at the time. She had a few extractions so her teeth cleaning was more expensive, around $1100, still more affordable than any other place even with the few extractions. I reccommend this Vet.
They took good care of both my dogs and cats and gave them their shots as well.
I added the before and after the teeth cleaning photos. You can see they got a lot off and did a good job.
While they are under they also do the butt glands and nail trimming.

760B Sycamore Ave, VistaI wish I known this place. Been looking and calling around for inexpensive neutering in the area and I was so surprised w the estimates, worth giving a try. The surgery for my 2yr old GSD was great, the doctors did an excellent job and staff showed extra care for my fur baby and made me feel calm and comfortable despite the notes I told them from the previous vet, negative feedback from former place (VETCO) where my dog records from birth.
I will move my dog and cats care here and will share my own experience to my friends and families ❤️?

After losing our 7 year-old Golden Retriever to cancer, they thoughtfully paired us with Callie and we fell in love with her instantly. Alan and Shelly welcomed us like family and genuinely understood how deeply the loss of our golden had affected us. Alan even took the time to share helpful training tips and a novel he wrote about Golden Retrievers, which can be incredibly beneficial as we train Callie. They were absolutely right about Callie being the perfect fit for our family, she has completely melted our hearts. She is beautiful, intelligent, and a loving cuddle bug, and Chris and I couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend Shadalane to anyone looking for a golden who is truly focused on finding the perfect golden while treating you like family.
