We are very pleased with the service provision overall in regards to reliability, customer service/support and functionality. A five star rating is withheld because of a very few interruptions and the lack of seeking customer input with periodic surveys regarding programming and internet services.”

“Today was honestly one of the worst days I’ve had in a long time.
I came in planning to port my number to T-Mobile. The process was extremely rough, frustrating, and in the end, unsuccessful — entirely due to issues left behind by AT&T, not this store.
What made the difference was the people here.
From the moment the staff understood what I was dealing with, they didn’t rush me, dismiss me, or tell me “it’s not our problem.” Instead, they were patient, professional, and genuinely willing to help. They spent a significant amount of time — nearly an hour — actively trying to troubleshoot and clean up the mess AT&T left behind.
Even though the port ultimately couldn’t be completed, I could clearly see the effort:
They cared
They tried
They treated my problem like it actually mattered
In the end, I had to make the tough decision to abandon my old number and start fresh — and I chose to do that with T-Mobile, because the experience in this store made that choice easy.
Sometimes great service isn’t about magically fixing everything.
It’s about effort, responsibility, and treating people with respect when things go wrong.

“The staff of the T-mobile shop in Harvard Square (store 5214) cannot be praised too highly. I visited the store over a period of 3 days (Oct. 16, 17, 18 2025) and was greeted courteously and had my questions answered and problems dealt with. Everyone was very patient (I am not good at technology) and no one tried to sell me a phone that was locked into their network and therefore would not work overseas (Note to Tmobile: you lost a sale there. I needed a new phone and would have bought one from you. As it was, all I did was transfer the chip from the phone I got from you 8 years ago, which was NOT locked into your network, to a new, unlocked phone which I purchased elsewhere.) But my point is not to criticize the company, but rather to praise the workers who are its living face and do a terrific job. I noted that other customers received the same considerate attention that I did. And not all of them were old fogies like me!”

“I had such a frustrating experience trying to return a hotspot I originally purchased from a third-party Verizon retailer (539 Granite St) — not realizing at the time it wasn’t a corporate Verizon store. Even though I was within the 30-day return window, they refused to accept the return simply because I no longer had the original box.
After going back and forth for days between that store and Verizon customer service, I was completely overwhelmed and getting nowhere.
Then I went to the Verizon store at South Shore Plaza — and that’s where everything changed.
Steven stepped in and completely turned the situation around. He was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely cared about helping me. He got on the phone with Verizon customer service with me, advocated on my behalf, and made it his mission to find a solution.
Not only did he help resolve the issue, but he also went above and beyond — printing my return label and even providing a box so I could ship the item back right away.
I honestly can’t say enough about how much time, effort, and compassion he put into helping me. After such a stressful experience, he made me feel heard and taken care of.

“I rarely leave reviews, especially for service providers, since situations can vary case by case. Today, however, was an exceptional experience thanks to Kevin (and his manager) at the store. As an internet customer, I decided to switch my mobile service to Xfinity for both myself and my daughter. The process turned out to be unexpectedly complicated solely due to my previous provider’s policies.
Throughout the entire time, Kevin remained attentive, promptly consulted his manager when needed, kept me informed at every step, and even called the other provider three times to help resolve the issue.
