“Greg is the best. One of the few mom and pop shops left in the neighborhood. Greg is always eager to help you out, and doesn’t nickel and dime you for extras like other big box shipping store do. Just be warned, you might stay longer than expected as you enjoy a story about the neighborhood. They make keys, help with shipping and receiving, perform notary services, etc… I enjoy supporting Greg and a local, small family business.”

“Loveliest lady in any post office I’ve ever been to. Usually, going to USPS is needlessly stressful. The atmosphere is so heavy and tense. Not this location! The woman working here (who has always been the only person working every time I’ve gone) is such a joy. Although this location is often shut down for Internet outages and other inconveniences, the customer service will make your day! She really goes the extra mile. Give her a raise!!!”

“Lisa B at the post office was absolutely amazing. I honestly feel like she saved my life! I accidentally left some very important documents behind, and she went completely out of her way to make sure they were safely held for me until I could come back.

She was so kind, professional, caring, and understanding during a moment that could have been very stressful for me. It truly takes 0 time to be nice, and Lisa showed exactly what great customer service should look like.

Because of her, I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you again, Lisa B, for your kindness and professionalism — it really meant a lot to me.”

“Great experience. I went on April 15, Tax Day, at 4pm. Line out the door, people sweating and stressed - T. Wortham - your only employee in office - was kind, patient, and calm. I was amazed by his demeanor, and so grateful for the service he was providing all of us. 99% of the world would have had a meltdown working by themselves on that date and time. He was spectacular. Thank you so much!”

“This place has everything a regular PO has, and more. lots of priority mail boxes, different sizes, if you need one. I've never experienced a line here and the guys here are always pleasant, smiling, and doing a good job. They're never shut down for no apparent reason like the PO in my zip code and I never feel aggravated (Philly post offices can be horrible!) it's a relief to find a good PO, I appreciate it soooo much.”

“I was really impressed. I think I understand why this post office has about 3.5 starts while most of the others in the area seem to level out at 2. The ladies who worked there were so pleasant and friendly; they were easy going and seemed to know most of the customers who came in. I got there with less than 10 minutes before they closed and I was expecting the rough kind of customer service that’s usually given to last-minute patrons, but the woman who was helping me treated me with courtesy and patience! I was especially grateful because I’ve never shipped out a package before and she wasn’t condescending when explaining what I needed to do and while answering my questions. This is what real customer service is!”

“I just went to mail something important that needed a postmark today, and the clerk (receipt says #14) was so nice and helpful. I was observing as I completed my documents how she interacted with everyone else and she was the same to all. Very pleasant, nice, and quick to work with.”

“The lady was blunt but helpful in explaining things to me. Got her to smile a bit too.

Aside from that-this post office doesn’t like to lend tape of scissors to you. So package your stuff up beforehand or ask nicely for tape”

“The sales clerk was very professional and friendly. It was a long line when I went in there Friday afternoon...but she systematically waited on everyone and the line went down fast.”

“I had a P.O. Box and went to this post office several times a week for a year or more before I moved. Everyone was really helpful and kind to me, they’re severely understaffed and the region they cover is very big so you do need to be patient and keep this in mind, but otherwise I have no complaints.”

“My experience with the USPS was excellent. The office was empty and the attendant was super helpful.
The advice I can share to improve everyone's experience is about the location. On Google Maps, the address is 1500 John F Kennedy Blvd c31, Philadelphia, PA 19102, but in reality, the office is located in the subway. The best entrance to find it quickly is at the City Hall subway entrance on the corner of John F and 15th St. (Go down the stairs, take the first left, and then the first right). I hope this helps.”

“I don’t understand why people give this location so much flack. Yeah it’s not the fastest service but they actually care and give a damn. I didn’t know what I was doing and the lady nicely explained what I needed to do. She even made sure to make the customs form clear so I won’t have any troubles. Worst thing about this place is you might wait in the line for 15 mins”

“The employees at this post are always very friendly and helpful! I wish the USPS/US government provided them with more funding and resources, who are the ones at fault when this branch has to close or reduce hours due to staffing issues.”

“The most patient and friendly staff at a post office ive encountered. I suffer from really bad social anxiety and theyre so patient, helpful, attentive and professional that i am able to focus on putting my packages together and i love going there. Thank you so much! God bless!”

2.3 Poor50 Reviews

“Employees are very friendly and do their job to the best of their ability and the resources given to them. The long lines are not their fault, as the location is clearly understaffed — that is a management or budget issue, not a reflection of the workers themselves. The male employee who is usually behind the counter deserves special recognition and honestly deserves a raise. He consistently works hard despite the challenges of being short-staffed.”

“Came to USPS 12/31/24 looking for my package that was supposed to be delivered until 1/4/24 but I really needed it for a family get together that night. I went in and the ladies at the front Ms. Shamara and the supervisor Ms.Crystal was awesome with helping me locate my package. They went above and beyond the call of duty. Didn’t give me a hard time at all. These ladies are awesome with their customer service and helping. Ms. Crystal has a good team.THANK YOU GUYS I WILL BE BACK”

“The woman who helped me with my passport this afternoon was absolutely amazing. I wish I knew her name for a personal shout out. She was the only employee there with a line of people, helping everyone in a timely manor. She was kind, professional & took me earlier than my appointment time. I definitely recommend this post office - 10/10”

“If I could give them 6 stars I would! This is the 2nd time I’ve gone and both times I’ve had little to no wait and the employees have been nothing friendly and helpful. Michelle helped me this time and went out of her way to make sure I had a good experience.

I have 2 kids and usually have to bring them so post office experiences can be a nightmare. I’m so grateful to this location for making mine and my kids’ experiences great!

I love this location and will come back every time I need postal services.”

“The woman with the black hijab working at the counter today (I unfortunately didn't get her name) was so helpful to me! I had a package that had been forwarded, and she was able to get me answers as to where it had gone. Her diligence and determination to get to the bottom of it was amazing.”

“I came in there on 7/28/25 to do my passports for myself. The female staff member who served me was very friendly and helpful, and answered all my questions in a friendly manner. I used a photoshoot there, and the staff was very attentive and took good photos. I dropped my car keys under the counter and she helped me find them back with a friendly smile and no signs of irritation. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name because I would have written it in my review, Because she helped me very well and the service was very impressive.”

“Came here to ship an item. Walking into the building, guests are met with a dimly lit lobby in deteriorating condition. What does provide some bright light are the employees, especially Tai (not sure I got the spelling correct). She was very bubbly, communicative, patient, helpful and friendly. Transaction was quick and easy!”

“Jasmin provided exceptional customer service. She was incredibly patient and helpful in assisting me with my address change. Due to a mail delivery issue, I was having trouble receiving my mail, but Jasmin and her supervisor went above and beyond to resolve the problem. Her willingness to work with me is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jasmin!”

“I've been going to this Post Office for yrs and I've never experienced any of the complaints I've read, nor have I been in line and saw any of the problems people are complaining about, what I have witnessed is people not knowing how they want to send a letter or package or not filling out the sending or return lables properly, this is and has been for many yrs a one Man operation and he's done a superb job, Customer Service is the hardest job ever, if I have to complain about something it would be that the office is closed from 1:30-3:00 for lunch.”
