Everyone was really helpful and kind to me, they’re severely understaffed and the region they cover is very big so you do need to be patient and keep this in mind, but otherwise I have no complaints.”

“Went for a walk in passport appointment around 1 pm, walk in between 1:15pm to 2:15 pm Monday to Wednesday, someone came and gave us a paper to write our names and when we came in, there were 5 people before me and it took about an hour for me to get called which was reasonable, there was around 4 to 5 people doing the process, one handling the appointments and the others handling the walk ins, it was a bit of chaos sometimes but it was doable and the lady who handled my application was helpful, I forgot to bring a copy of my ID but she was nice and made a copy for me, the only down thing is no parking available near and the pee smell in the entrance of the post office, other than that it was all good.”

“This place has everything a regular PO has, and more. lots of priority mail boxes, different sizes, if you need one. I've never experienced a line here and the guys here are always pleasant, smiling, and doing a good job. They're never shut down for no apparent reason like the PO in my zip code and I never feel aggravated (Philly post offices can be horrible!) it's a relief to find a good PO, I appreciate it soooo much.”

He asked me if I wanted him to check it to make sure it was in order, I told him sure,Glad I did,had some issues that would have delayed it getting processed.he was wearing a navy veteran hat and wore glasses with a beard..he should be commended for his professional work ethic..and I and my wife thank him for his service..”

“The one employee posted there is efficient and professional. However, because USPS only puts one person there, when that person takes lunch, the branch is effectively closed for an hour. Which means those lunch hours should be posted online so we don't waste a trip going there when its supposed to be open. I have a PObox there, and its always easy to get in and out, and its always clean and organized and well-stocked.”

“this was a super cool post office! we were told that this is a historical post office, the one where ben franklin was postmaster in the late 1700s! it actually still retains quite a bit of 18th century charm and has statues of dr. franklin and some info plaques with history.only 1 person works there in present day so the hours are little more limited and you might have to wait a bit but this is very charming...most likely i've never seen such a small post office!we were advised to come here, mail out a postcard so we could have the original cancelation stamp, something you won't see at any other post office! it was actually pretty cool, and so i decided to mail one back home to myself and get another stamp as a souvenir.located just off market street at the northern end of franklin court where you'll find many more historical artifacts dedicated to benjamin franklin.”

I went from no package/thought it disappeared to having the supervisor find it and get it delivered directly to my house.The staff is always sweet, and sure - it may take a little longer there, but they get it done. For people saying it’s awful, I get it, but I do think that postal service employees and service industry workers have to deal with such mean people all the time, cut them a little slack. And really with mail just come prepared with your tracking numbers and be clear in what you need, it’ll be fine. Don’t be scared away from here.”

“This is the only post office in the city worth going to. Every time I've gone they're nice, efficient and they have things in stock. All the other post office locations I've been to in the city are nightmares. The best option really is to drive across the bridge to a post office in New Jersey. But if you have to go to one in Philly, this is the one.I see in the comments people saying it's not always open when it's supposed to be. So I guess maybe it's hit or miss but I haven't had a miss.”
