Usually there is only one clerk working but the supervisor there means business! You have to be polite and not skip the line or else you’ll get moved to the back. Rightfully so. 🙂↕

“I was really impressed. I think I understand why this post office has about 3.5 starts while most of the others in the area seem to level out at 2. The ladies who worked there were so pleasant and friendly; they were easy going and seemed to know most of the customers who came in. I got there with less than 10 minutes before they closed and I was expecting the rough kind of customer service that’s usually given to last-minute patrons, but the woman who was helping me treated me with courtesy and patience! I was especially grateful because I’ve never shipped out a package before and she wasn’t condescending when explaining what I needed to do and while answering my questions. This is what real customer service is!”
“This place has everything a regular PO has, and more. lots of priority mail boxes, different sizes, if you need one. I've never experienced a line here and the guys here are always pleasant, smiling, and doing a good job. They're never shut down for no apparent reason like the PO in my zip code and I never feel aggravated (Philly post offices can be horrible!) it's a relief to find a good PO, I appreciate it soooo much.”

“I wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible mail carrier who delivers in the 10th & Federal area.
In a world where people are often quick to complain, I think it's just as important to recognize someone who consistently does an exceptional job.
Every day, he goes the extra mile. Instead of leaving our mail on the front steps, he takes the time to place it safely through the mail slot. If there's a small package, he'll often ring the doorbell so we know it's there. These aren't things he has to do... they're things he chooses to do because he genuinely cares about the people on his route.
I recently learned that he has just returned to work after recovering from a foot injury. Knowing that only makes me appreciate him even more. Despite what he's been through, he continues to show up with the same dedication, professionalism, and pride in his work.
It's easy to overlook the people who quietly make our lives better every day, but he deserves to be recognized. His kindness, reliability, and work ethic have not gone unnoticed, and our neighborhood is genuinely grateful for everything he does.
Please extend my sincere thanks to him. Employees like him are a credit to the Postal Service, and I truly hope he receives the recognition he has earned. If anyone deserves a raise or a commendation, it's him.”
“I have terrible times at every USPS in the city except this one. Employees are pretty patient and neutral even in the evenings. Such a nice contrast from most other locations where the employee is usually fuming at you for existing and using their services”

“My experience with the USPS was excellent. The office was empty and the attendant was super helpful.
The advice I can share to improve everyone's experience is about the location. On Google Maps, the address is 1500 John F Kennedy Blvd c31, Philadelphia, PA 19102, but in reality, the office is located in the subway. The best entrance to find it quickly is at the City Hall subway entrance on the corner of John F and 15th St. (Go down the stairs, take the first left, and then the first right). I hope this helps.”
“I went around 12pm they were not busy and it took only a minute for one of the girls to take care of me. She girl was very nice and sweet and respectful to me and others when she took them.”

Aside from that-this post office doesn’t like to lend tape of scissors to you. So package your stuff up beforehand or ask nicely for tape”

“This was my fourth time going to this post office with some friends this past weekend to mail out invitations on 12/06/2025, where there was two workers. The one who assisted me was named Andrea, and she was very kind, a new trainee she said, and was happily talkative with all the customers who walked around. She saved my trip of being embarrassed and was beyond professional showed me my options of stamps. She recommended to get the “B Franklin” stamp on all my invitations and gave some history to my friends about this post office.
The other woman was loud, on her phone, stayed seated in her chair, ignored us and rolled her eyes when anyone tried to speak with her or get help. She was on the phone , and Andrea stepped in, and managed a small influx of customers while the phone was going off at the same time. Andrea nearly ran the store by herself for the 10 minutes i lingered, and I didn’t get the other woman’s name tag because she wasn’t wearing one.
I hope to see Andrea at this location again, because the previous workers are downright rude and unhelpful. She asked for each of us to complete the survey on the receipt- but I’m leaving a review instead! I encourage others to do the same!”
“I almost didn't come here due to the other reviews, but my experience was fine. I was here to send a certified letter. The line was long because there was only one person working but she was friendly and efficient, so the line was moving. This was a Monday around 2:30.”

“This is not a full sized commercial post office. I missed a delivery and was directed on the USPS slip to come here and pick up a package. I arrived around 2pm on Saturday. “I've been going to this Post Office for yrs and I've never experienced any of the complaints I've read, nor have I been in line and saw any of the problems people are complaining about, what I have witnessed is people not knowing how they want to send a letter or package or not filling out the sending or return lables properly, this is and has been for many yrs a one Man operation and he's done a superb job, Customer Service is the hardest job ever, if I have to complain about something it would be that the office is closed from 1:30-3:00 for lunch.”

“Greg is the best. One of the few mom and pop shops left in the neighborhood. Greg is always eager to help you out, and doesn’t nickel and dime you for extras like other big box shipping store do. Just be warned, you might stay longer than expected as you enjoy a story about the neighborhood. They make keys, help with shipping and receiving, perform notary services, etc… I enjoy supporting Greg and a local, small family business.”
