“Been going to Edward's (Postmaster) place to drop off my eBay sales several times a week since it's close and convenient for all my shipping needs. In fact, I can't even remember when it was that I last went to a regular USPS location to handle any of my shipping. Every visit is a true pleasure... like walking in to a small town post office where everyone knows one another. Fast, friendly service, with shipping supplies (boxes, tape, etc.) costing less than average retail prices at stores like Walmart or Fred Meyer. Sometimes you might have to wait a few minutes as customers are assisted one-by-one by Mr. Zhang, but it's no problem at all (just goes to show how popular that place is with the locals). Remember to support local small-businesses as much as possible! 👍👍”

“Update 12/5 - I've come in since learning about new ownership and things have improved here! Happy to use their services again. I've used Lake Union Mail to print my shipping labels and it went from $1 to $2 without notice to print a single piece of paper and slip it in the clear sleeves that UPS/FedEx provide. I came here for stamps once and when I received my total I knew something was off. When I asked he said they mark them up but didn't transparently provide that info. The man that works here is super unfriendly and makes it uncomfortable to use their services, which is the main reason I won't come back here.”

“I leave reviews for post office only after using it for a few months. This post office does the job done, it is friendly, and the lines if they are there, move quickly. Mel is a sweetheart and treats everybody as her neighbor and friend. This location has a self-service kiosk, it does not work in about 20% of my visits, and in this case I use the live agents. Both the kiosk and live help work well. The closing time is 6pm, and they are open on Saturdays till 3pm, which helps a lot.”

Be sure to use the handy self-service kiosk for easy drop offs when there's a line and you don't want to wait! As of September 2026, packaging prices: Poly mailers: $2-$3.50 Tuck top boxes: $2.50-$6 Packaging tape with dispenser: $4.89 Fiberboard mailers: $2.19-$3.50 They also sell mattress bags from twin to king size, though I didn't get a photo of the price.”

Luckily some good people were passing by and offered to help with the door. Can something be done about the direction this door opens in since people might have heavy boxes to carry through it? The staff is super helpful once you reach the counter. Deducting one star for the door.”

“I've picked up here many times and I've never had an issue. As others have said entrance is on Marginal Way. When you come in park to the right. Check in is all the way at the end of the building. They are extremely by appointment so unless you just need a place to park it's best to just arrive on time. No overnight parking but you can stage as early as you want so long as they are open. Staff is efficient and professional. Loading takes about an hour from when you get on the dock. I will gladly pick up from here again!”
