“Just want to let people know how awesome Tech Heroes in Madison are. I literally called an hour and 20 minutes before they closed to get a screened replaced because my phone was useless when I dropped it this afternoon. I did called around and was quoted twice the price and couldn't get it fixed til early next week. I rushed into Madison, 40 minutes later I have a new screen and my phone works perfect. David at the store was nice and explained everything to me. He quoted the price on phone and I wasn't charged a penny more. Thanks for fast and way cheaper repair. Definitely recommend.”

“I have had my house for 61 years. In all that time, I have never experienced such careful delivery people as Jairo R. and Jose M. Yesterday, I received delivery of my new refrigerator. To make sure it fit in perfectly, they removed the bolts from my kitchen-to-garage door, then narrowed the overall size by waltzing it in sideways with the freezer/fridge doors open to the side, to make a smaller overall width. In so doing, they removed the chances of damage. They proceeded in all things very expertly, and balanced the fridge so the doors are velvety smooth when they close. I hope my new GE fridge is as good a the delivery people: detailed, skillful, hard-working, and going the extra distance for customer satisfaction. Thanks, Jairo! Thanks Jose! “This store niche may not be evident to some. Though their car audio may be the finest in Madison, it is the Home Theater installation and knowledge which impresses me. With the rapidly changing technology, I contend there is minimal value in purchasing a HT processor more expensive than the Marantz Cinema series or Sony ES.
Don’t ask the big box store for installation help if you appreciate Dolby approved parameters. They, big box, specialize in installs taking 1/2 hour. They might well be able to properly connect the cables.
Removing baseboards and using an oscillating M18 to cut through any Sheetrock exceeds their, big box, comfort zone. Most companies won’t consider cutting quarter sized holes through sheetrock and pulling cable between joists.
My current HT room is much smaller than our former room. Instead of a 7.2 with big towers, the new 5.2.2 with bookshelf speakers is delivering more convincing imaging. The knowledge base of my AMS tech allowed for superior results with less esoteric equipment.
Yes, you might find a cheaper installation but it will be compromised in speaker location. The fit and finish of my installation is impeccable. Most installers would not attempt such a project because of their limited skill set. An installer from a different company even suggested I should just move my HT into a spare bedroom because it would be easier in install!

When I left she had resolved my keyboard problems. I was so grateful. I received customer service at its best !!!!”

“I recently bought a new washing machine from the East side (Stoughton Road) location. Due to disability I could not visit in person. I did research online and found the prices to be competitive. The sales rep, Dale, was excellent: courteous, patient with my questions and repeated calls, informed. The delivery team was also excellent: on time, very courteous, had the relevant expertise, and completed the job quickly without any damage to the house or stairs. I purchased the extended warranty so will have to see how they will perform if repairs are needed. But I won't have that information for a few years if at all. In the meantime, my purchase and installation experience were great.”

“Great values here for a neighborhood where food merchants often take advantage of students with high prices. But I learned today that this location will not be accepting cash. I'm not sure everyone is comfortable using their cards at Target given their 2013 data breach that compromised card information...and not everyone has ready access to a credit or debit card. I feel like Target's unfortunate data breach is a wake-up call to shoppers to consider shopping with cash to avoid giving banking information so frequently or readily. And there are better values than Target in Madison if folks are willing to take a short bus ride to stock up.”

“I stopped in with my family a few weeks ago to purchase a new phone for my Mom. Shakira was wonderful to work with! She answered all our questions, recommended phones and accessories, set up the new phone, transferred the contacts, and even downloaded the apps my Mom uses regularly so she didn't have to navigate that herself since she's not very tech savvy. Shakira was very patient throughout and provided excellent customer service. I would definitely go to this location again!”

“We were referred to this location from the Monona store. Thank God! Monona store is terrible. We needed to replace a broken cell phone and talk about bill adjustments, trade in, service, etc. Our salesperson Taylor was over the top fantastic!She spent as much time as we needed. Figured out which scenario worked best for us! Explained how the new Verizon home Internet works and where it works. Not in Madison yet! She was great! Saved us money on future bills and got us some credits on services that we were still paying on that the Monona Location said they had taken care of! Awesome service!I cannot recommend this location any higher!”
“Following their online procedure, I emailed a repair ticket to Modern TV & Electronics. I immediately got an email response acknowledging that they had received my ticket. A short while later, they called me to apologize and say they wouldn't be able to work on my stereo amp because parts would be difficult or impossible to get (it's a lesser known brand and over 40 years old). I really appreciated their honesty and helpfulness. This level of thoughtfulness for a customer is much appreciated.”

“I went to the T Mobile store on university ave after initially visiting the west towne mall location to upgrade my phone. While at West towne I was given conflicting information on the cost and process for the upgrade. After a while of discussion I was finally able to get my phone upgraded. All my stuff (apps, pictures and messages) was transferred to the new phone. I was sent home with the new phone and told everything was good to go. I make it all the way home only to find out that everything wasn't good to go. I wasn't able to use the phone to make actual calls (the whole point of needing the phone upgraded). I attempted to call the west towne location 3 time to see about trying to remedy the problem, I called over and over but the phone was never answered. I reached out to the university ave. location and was told to come in so we could work on figuring out where the west towne location messed up. Once I arrived at the university ave. location I was promptly greeted by Yona. Yona helped me to actually get the phone service transferred to the new phone. Yona was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning to the university ave location from now on.

Over the time span I was there, the most beautiful woman I have ever seen walked in. I began to tell Oliver of her beauty he insured me as a handsome young man of my caliber I should go ask her on a date. I told him I was too scared and nervous of rejection. As the lovely employee that he is he said he would do it for me. He walked over to the lady and the rest was history. I now have an upcoming date this Thursday 10 out of 10 service will be back.”
