I love a certain color pink on my chestnut gelding whose name is Music. We just do what we like, and that is usually confusing for others. ???

Inside Petco, 2749 Via De La Valle, Del MarJust Food For Dogs made fresh at the Del Mar Heights kitchen, is a time saver! And my dogs love the variety of tastes! I want to give my two dogs human-grade food that doesn’t have fillers or chemicals and something that supports their health and well- being. The staff at the kitchen are friendly, helpful and happy! You can tell they love their jobs. They also have Critical Care food to use after surgery or when your pet has tummy issues like pancreatitis. I absolutely love Just Food For Dogs! And so do my furry babies!

Maria always sends me the cutest pictures and videos. My puppy gets sooooo excited even just hearing her voice when I rewatch the videos. Maria goes ABOVE and BEYOND. 3665 Via De La Valle, Del MarI have a rescued, shy and reactive dog that require some medical attention since he was a puppy. Continuous trip to the veterinarian office for sure was not an easy trip for all of us. However Dr Tsai is one of the doctor he could trust, very understanding and gentle. This veterinarian office allowing us to wait in the car, has quick exam outside in the parking lot rather than in stressful waiting room. Buddy came back thriving and back to normal after his medication, and tests.

Are you looking for a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) who offers effective and positive training for your puppy or adult dog in the San Diego, Encinitas, Fallbrook, Solana Beach or Fairbanks Ranch area? If so, we highly recommend Christine Young, owner of The Puppy Care Company. We adopted a twelve-week-old puppy that was cute as could be. We quickly learned that we weren’t prepared for the crazy puppy jumping up on people, biting, crazy energy and later adolescent antics. That led us to searching for a trainer who specialized in puppies and adolescent dogs. We found Christine Young, who offers zoom sessions, as well as in person training. Working together with Christine, we learned how to turn frustrating and negative puppy behaviors into positive ones. Our pup viewed these training sessions with Christine and us as fun games. Little did our puppy realize that those games were helping her learn appropriate behavior without us yelling or using punishment correction. Everyone in our house was relieved and happy to be learning positive techniques that channeled our pup’s energy into appropriate behaviors. Christine’s training respects the dog’s needs, as well as helping the dog learn appropriate boundaries. Recently, we adopted a second dog and Christine was right there helping us with the transition. Christine’s extensive expertise, experience and care for her clients is evident from the very first training session. Christine is always there for us and our dogs, offering guidance and resources.

Off the main road so it’s quiet. Really can’t go wrong. Not the friendliest people but maybe they were having a tough day.

Good seating outside, nice area, and SO MANY flavors to choose from. You can get 4 scoops for 8 bucks so don't feel like you're missing out by choosing one or another when you can get a lot. Check it out of you're in the area for sure!

Broken Yolk Cafe
2642 Del Mar Heights Rd, Del MarI grew up in La Jolla and would go to the original Broken Yolk location down in Pacific Beach often. I loved it then and still love it now. Every time I come to Broken Yolk I always get a great meal and service is always lightning fast. This Del Mar location is probably my favorite of all of them because there is a large free parking lot directly in front that is never too crowded and the servers are always very friendly here. It can get quite crowded some mornings, but usually it’s not as bad as some other places around town. The food is consistently good and the menu is very large so it’s a great option for breakfast on any occasion.
Inside is quite large and can host many different sized groups from small to large. For this breakfast, I chose a Build Your Own Omelette and added the hollandaise on top which I highly recommend. This place is consistently great and I would confidently recommend it to anyone.

It’s such a charming spot, filled with friendly locals. Every day, we savored world-class coffee under the sparkling sunshine of Del Mar. We’re now heading back to DC, but we’ll definitely return because this place is truly beautiful and one of a kind. Oh, the best pastry as Paris, too. Sending love to Little Joy!

Apple pancake - Iconic dish due to its puffy, caramelized apples with cinnamon sugar glazed. Must try dish and you won’t regret it.
Staff/servers were all attentive and friendly. Highly recommended if you’re looking for an excellent breakfast brunch experience.
