“It seems odd to give a review for a paint store. I really want to thank Andrea (the manager) We had a big paint job, well what I consider big, because we did our house predominately by ourselves and needed a lot of paint. I found Andrea and Rudy to be an exceptional team. Andrea, was helpful in the number of gallons we would need and always made sure that our paint was ready to be picked up when we arrived. In several weeks of purchasing paint there was never a problem and that is a record for most stores these days. Rudy, carried out the large 5 gal. paint containers for us. I guess Rudy is the one who does a lot of the mixing. Again, never a problem! Thanks Dunn- Edwards for hiring such great employees.”

“As a regular homeowner about a year go I went to buy some window cleaning supplies for cleaning my 16 footer glass slider. After buying the supplies the owner Bryan gave me a quick lesson on how to clean them. I never really got his technique down but acceptable. This upcoming Thanksgiving with out of town guests coming over we wanted the glass to be perfect. I called Bryan he offered to come right out the next day. He done an absolutely beautiful job. All said and done he wouldn't accept payment. This review is very well earned and deserved to the kind of individual Bryan is. I'am very glad to have crossed paths with him. A great businessman and a great person to know.”

“My favorite hardware store for looking for unique items. The store seems to carry inventory used by the local home builders. The big box stores carry generic inventory which is great if you need a 2" x 4". I was looking for a specific cap screw. They have a super wide selection of screws, nuts, bolts and little hardware pieces you can't find elsewhere. The sales cleck came by to help me out since they have such a wide selection of screws in different materials and colors. She even assembled my bracket with the screws. They have great customer service.”

“I recently had two horrible experiences at the Oreck store on Power road! I decided to give the Scottsdale store one last chance since I was in the area. Deanna greeted me at the door with a smile. She then proceeded to look at my machine right there and fix it! Such fabulous service. “My husband and I went to Dunn Edwards to get some ideas for paint colors as we are painting our entire house. We thought we could pick the color out ourselves even though we know nothing about colors and what looks nice. We asked for help and was assisted immediately by Andrea B. We showed her a picture of our cabinets and based on that we chose a color. We received samples but when we painted them on the wall, we knew it was the wrong color. We loved the color but it didn't go with our cabinets. We returned to the store for more help from Andrea, this time bringing a cabinet door. We asked Andrea for her help again, without hesitation she helped us pick out the right colors. She knew exactly which color family would work, we chose 4 different colors within the same family. I can't wait for the painter to start! Andrea was fantastic, we were in and out of there in no time. If it wasn't for her expertise, we'd still be there picking out colors.”

“We had French doors put in 2021 and have since had some issues with our Emtek door handle and a strike plate falling off. The customer service was incredible. We had 3 new Emtek door handle replacements done by Simon and Sal immediately facetimed today to walk me through how to place the strike plate back on the door casing. Fast, kind and reliable!!”

Recently, I encountered a perplexing challenge involving a retaining clip. So I drove to ACE Hardware on Shea and Scottsdale Rd and bought a specialty tool for retaining clips. Despite my initial attempt to resolve it with this specialized tool, the complexity of the task became apparent, and even the most robust individuals in our office could not decipher its intricacies.In my pursuit of a solution, I revisited ACE Hardware and, to my utmost satisfaction, encountered a remarkable individual named Harper. I am inclined to believe that his nametag should rightfully read "Superhero." Upon seeking his assistance, Harper adeptly rolled up his sleeves and successfully extracted the elusive retaining clip within a matter of minutes, salvaging the day.ACE Hardware stands out as a haven where consummate professionals, akin to superheroes, are poised and prepared to offer unparalleled assistance. Their proficiency and dedication make them unequivocally the best in the industry. Harper was truly SPECTACULAR.”

“I called this Hayden location and selected plumbing parts option.A very helpful lady answered named Samantha helped me.Samantha works with Ferguson's headquarters in Virginia, inside sales representative that answers calls about plumbing and lighting. She doesn't give up trying to find me a hard to find uncommon part. I needed shortest length (1 foot) 3/8" double ended gas line connector, or 3/8" on one end and 3/8" mail FLARED end on the other end. Hardly anything uses 3/8", so Home Depot and Ace do not carry it, but Lowes did carry 3/8" but it was 36" long. I don't have room in my RV cabinet (to hook up RV fridge to run on propane) for all that hose. Samantha made several phone calls to manufacturers to find me that hose, but some manufacturers were not available. So she had to call me back next day. Well she never did call me back, so I assume she didn't find a 12" hose, but a friend had one in his garage, that he didn't need. I didn't even think they existed. If I had a company, I sure would be honored to have an employee like Samantha. I wish she could work for some of the property management companies that "aren't there for me" and give me horrid service, that I have to beat out of them.”

“Worked with April in the showroom and Dave on the install for both main entrance and casita doors. The doors were just installed this past wk and look marvelous with a quality finish and fit that I was expecting from this Co. Both individuals are easy to work with and forthright in whole process of door replacement.I reviewing prior comments, these are WOOD doors and replaced 15 yr old WOOD doors. The sun and moisture will adversely affect any wood product. I am currently adding gutters to my courtyard to minimize the splash of water on the doors from rain fall on to the tile.Dave went over periodic(annual) maintenance with these doors which is pretty simple; anyone who lives in the high Sonoran desert ought to know this...”

“I’ve always preferred Lowe’s or Home Depot. Better products, nicer stores, and better people. The Scottsdale store wins top prize for its people.I was recently in the store with my 90 year old mother when she developed a bad nose bleed. All of the associates were helpful and kind, but in particular, Dustin (Dusty), brought us a chair from the employee break room, got us paper towels and ice, and stayed with us the whole time. All of this attention was above and beyond anything we would have expected, and it calmed my mother tremendously and kept her from becoming more anxious.Thank you Lowe’s for all you do, and especially for Dusty for going above and beyond.”

“This is only based on my last experience, as I often go between this Home Depot and Lowes with experiences ranging from 1 to 3 stars, however I want to say if you need any flooring or carpeting, I would 100% go to this Home Depot IF you can work with Joel Permison in flooring. Stopped in last month to get some basic answers to possibly do some new carpet in the fall/winter of 2024 and Joel treated me as if I was about to do a $100,000 order!Joel went into depth, took him time, no pressure/selling, and gave good, honest advice. Best experience I have had in a long time at any store!”

“We bought a washer and dryer set 2 weeks ago to be delivered and installed today. I called to check on the order only to find out that they pushed the delivery out another week! Would've been nice to get a call or something to let us know what was happening!!Follow up report... After a couple of hours of phone calls and waiting on hold, I did speak to the store manager. He did locate a replacement unit from another store to fill our order and had the set delivered the following day for us. Thank you for the help... I would upgrade this to 3 stars.”

An associate named Dennis helped him look for them until it was discovered they were still packaged in an unloaded pallet high up on the shelving.
