“I can’t say enough good things about the team at Paul’s Ace Hardware. I stopped in for one simple item—salt for my water softener—but my toddler started having a full meltdown the moment we walked through the door.
One of the employees immediately noticed I was struggling and asked what I needed. Instead of just pointing me in the right direction, they offered to shop for me, brought everything to the front, and had me checked out quickly. They knew exactly which product I was looking for, making the whole process incredibly easy.
I initially declined their offer to help load my purchase into my car, but when they saw I was still trying to manage my upset toddler, they came outside anyway, loaded the bags into my car, and even returned the shopping cart for me. That small act of kindness made such a difference during a stressful moment.
This is the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back. I’ve been shopping at this location for over a year, and they consistently go above and beyond for their customers. It’s clear they genuinely care about the people who walk through their doors.

“My husband recently came to this location looking for specific humidifiers he'd found on the website. An associate named Dennis helped him look for them until it was discovered they were still packaged in an unloaded pallet high up on the shelving. “It seems odd to give a review for a paint store. I really want to thank Andrea (the manager) We had a big paint job, well what I consider big, because we did our house predominately by ourselves and needed a lot of paint. I found Andrea and Rudy to be an exceptional team. Andrea, was helpful in the number of gallons we would need and always made sure that our paint was ready to be picked up when we arrived. In several weeks of purchasing paint there was never a problem and that is a record for most stores these days. Rudy, carried out the large 5 gal. paint containers for us. I guess Rudy is the one who does a lot of the mixing. Again, never a problem! Thanks Dunn- Edwards for hiring such great employees.”

Yesterday, my son and I came into the store with absolutely no idea what wood to buy or how to begin his very first woodworking project. He had a thought to build his own little stool with his own hands.
From the moment we walked in, Brittany was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. She took the time to talk with my son, listened to what he wanted to build, and helped us choose the right wood. She made him feel important, encouraged his curiosity, and treated him like she had known him for years. Watching how excited he was to talk with her was heartwarming as a parent.
Brittany then introduced us to Hayden in the Lumber Department, and he was just as wonderful. Hayden carefully helped us figure out the correct dimensions, cut the wood to the exact sizes we needed, and made sure we left with everything required for the project. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to help.
Today, my son proudly completed his very first stool using the wood they helped us select. The smile on his face says it all! This wasn’t just a trip to buy lumber, it became a memory we’ll cherish for long. Brittany and Hayden didn’t just help us buy wood; they inspired a young builder and helped create an unforgettable father-and-son project.
