“I took my Volvo Xc40 in for the 60k maintenance service. Everyone was friendly and helpful. My car seems to be doing ok. I didn’t save any money here over the dealership but felt welcomed and I trusted what I was being told. They did have more things listed to do on the maintenance package than the dealer . The reason I took off a star is because they weren’t able to reset the Volvo on call light that needed to be reset.They said only the dealer has the ability to do that , but had they told me beforehand, I probably would have just gone to the dealer. He did tell me how I can turn it off , but it has to be done each time you start the car. I am not upset, they did a good job and I would return in the future. They seem like very honest, hardworking people. I get some snotty type vibes at the dealership if I even question anything when I go in there.”

“Kim and her team gave me an exceptional, above-and-beyond experience when I called Toy Tech a couple of days ago in tears, as I had just moved to the far northern part of Black Forest. My car’s engine suddenly started sounding like a helicopter, and the Engine Check and Track Off lights came on and were blinking. I called around, and every other mechanic said they could only take a look at my car in a week. Being without a car in Black Forest for a week or two, with no one to give me a ride, was terrifying. The moment I called Kim, I felt assured and comforted, and I could hear genuine care and expertise. I was so worried I’d have to replace an engine, but Kim and her team miraculously diagnosed that it was a coil pack #3 and repaired it within 48 hours. I’m still in tears because I recently lost my job and moved to Black Forest to rent a room from a friend to save money, but being in Black Forest without a car is really tough. The ride-share from Black Forest to anywhere costs $70-100, so Kim & Toy Tech’s help meant so much to me. I found my mechanic. This is a genuinely caring, high-quality, family-owned business. I won’t take my car anywhere else as long as I live within an hour of Toy Tech. I highly recommend this honest, reliable, professional business that genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. I appreciate Kim and Toy Tech and look forward to continuing to let them take care of my older car so it stays in really good shape.”
“These guys have excellent customer service and are very quick as well. I went in to get my drive shaft shortened and rebalanced, it only took them 3 hours and they even went above and beyond to respray the driveshaft as well. Definitely a 5 star for me.”

“My Transmission completely went on me. Didn’t go anywhere. Called Wesco they had me tow my car there. I bought a Transmission online used they installed it. It took a while for the Transmission to come in. Meanwhile, my car was there in their garage and they were really busy but they were accommodating more than any other shop I’ve ever been to very helpful. Seem to care about my problem. They helped me talk with the American Legion who was trying to help me with the Transmission repair and the lady there talked with them and orchestrated at all got it all done. I’m more than satisfied if you don’t go here for your transmission repair then you’ve gone to the wrong place. I only put five star cause that’s all there was if I could get more I would. I only wish I had the words to tell you how great they were but but when you are as good and caring and understanding as them it is well just that Undescribable Thank you very much”

“This is now my 4th visit to Mike’s and I will not go anywhere else! It can be hard finding somewhere you can trust to service your vehicle. This shop has blown my mind with their honesty and integrity. I can trust that I don’t need to call my husband, dad, or random man to confirm that I’m not being swindled. They care about their customers and do honest work. Twice now, a chain shop has recommended repairs that cost thousands that they discovered during oil changes/tire repairs. Recently, after bringing it to Mike’s, the total was $0 because the supposed “urgent” repairs have another 10-15k miles before they need to be addressed. The other time, the repairs needed were 1/2 the price as a dealership. I’ve had repairs done and tire swap-outs (winter to all-season). They do a thorough inspection every time, communicate clearly what work needs to be done AND estimates, and take the time to explain in a way I can understand. We won’t take my Subaru anywhere else. As a bonus, the shop dog is a cutie! This is a local business that deserves all the support. THANK YOU for keeping my car on the road and my family safe!”
